NFC tags and QR codes
In every plan
A tap link starts, switches or stops your timer as soon as you hold your phone to an NFC tag or scan a QR code. It opens Horaka and asks briefly; only after you confirm does anything happen. It works on iPhone and Android, without a token and in every plan.
- Under Settings, Shortcuts and tap links, add a tap link: label (for example "Desk"), action (start, toggle, switch or stop) and project.
- Copy the link or show its QR code.
- Write the link to an NFC tag (steps below) or print the QR code and stick it to your workplace.
- Hold your phone to the tag or scan the code with the camera and confirm the question.
iPhone with the app "NFC Tools"
- Install "NFC Tools" from the App Store and open "Write".
- Tap "Add a record", choose "URL / URI" and paste the copied tap link.
- Tap "Write" and hold the iPhone to the tag until the confirmation appears.
- Hold the unlocked iPhone to the tag: a notice appears at the top, tapping it opens the link.
iPhone with Shortcuts, without writing the tag
- In Shortcuts open the tab "Automation", tap "+", choose "NFC" and scan the tag.
- Choose "Run Immediately" and the action "Open URLs".
- Paste the copied tap link as the URL and tap "Done".
Android
- Install "NFC Tools" from Google Play and open "Write".
- Tap "Add a record", choose "URL / URI" and paste the tap link.
- Tap "Write" and hold the phone to the tag.
- With NFC switched on, the phone opens the link in the browser or in the installed app when you tap the tag.
Any writable tag works, for example NTAG213 as a sticker or key fob. On the iPhone, links from NFC tags open in Safari, not in the installed app, so sign in once in Safari. Tap links count together with devices against the device limit of your plan. A revoked tap link stops working at once, even on tags that are already written.
