AI assistants via MCP
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code to Horaka. The assistant then looks up your time entries, creates entries or controls the timer when you ask it to, for example "How many hours did I track for client A this week?" or "Add yesterday 9 to 12 to the project Relaunch". It works with your permissions like the API; the connection is part of Premium.
- Copy the address of the MCP server below. You also find it under Settings, API and devices.
- Add it to your assistant as a connector, the steps for each assistant are below.
- The assistant opens Horaka: sign in, choose the permissions and tap "Allow".
- Start asking. You never enter a token, signing in works through OAuth.

Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)
Open Settings, Connectors, tap "Add custom connector", enter Horaka as the name, paste the address and tap "Connect".
ChatGPT
Open Settings, Connectors, switch on developer mode and create a new connector with this address and OAuth as the authentication.
Claude Code
Add it in the terminal, then run /mcp in Claude Code and sign in:
claude mcp add --transport http horaka https://api.horaka.com/mcp
Cursor
In ~/.cursor/mcp.json (for all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json in the project:
{
"mcpServers": {
"horaka": { "url": "https://api.horaka.com/mcp" }
}
}
VS Code
In .vscode/mcp.json in the project, then choose "Start" at the server in the chat in agent mode:
{
"servers": {
"horaka": { "type": "http", "url": "https://api.horaka.com/mcp" }
}
}
Only give the assistant the permissions it needs: with "Read" alone it cannot change anything. Under Settings, API and devices you see every connected app and disconnect it with one click. The connection renews itself; if you do not use it for 30 days, you sign in again. Whatever the assistant creates shows up in the activity log like any other change.
